Apple may launch its iWatch in conjunction with the iPhone 5. According to iwatchrumours.com, the iWatch is currently under development, and was scheduled for launch in May 2012, with that date well and truly gone, it makes sense that Cupertino will launch it with the iPhone 5 and iPad mini.
By the response on Cult of Mac on the iWatch the support is definitely out there for such a product that will save people from digging out their phone to look at their screen every time they have a Facebook, Twitter, SMS message and the like.
With other entries in the market from Sony, Pebble and I'm Watch, the smart watch market is starting to take off and is something to be watched (no pun intended) with interest.
